Diamond Elite offers all our customers complimentary, professional, in-store jewellery cleaning on all Diamond Elite jewellery. To make the most of this we welcome our customers to come on a regular basis around 3 times a year to ensure their jewellery is well maintained. With proper care and respect for your jewellery you can ensure that your beautiful pieces can last a lifetime.

If you prefer to clean your jewellery at the comfort of your own home you may do so using warm water and gentle liquid soap. You may also use a soft toothbrush to gently brush around the diamonds. Then rinse and dry with a lint-free soft clean cloth.

Store unworn jewellery in its original box to protect it. Keep jewellery and its box out of sunlight and away from damp/moist areas. By keeping jewellery in its box it deters necklaces from getting tangled and knotted, and prevents jewellery pieces from scratching one another. This is especially important when precious gemstones are involved.

Don’t be rough with your jewellery. If you consistently expose jewellery to rough wear then don’t expect it to last forever. Be mindful that what you’re wearing is valuable and any carelessness can cause permanent damage and deep scratches on your pieces.

Keep chemicals and cleaning products away from your precious jewellery. These chemicals can react to metals and even permanently damage gemstones. Don’t put on products like lotion, perfume or hairspray whilst wearing jewellery. Lotion can seep into the small crevices of your jewellery and build up overtime.

It is not recommended to wear your jewellery especially rings when playing sports, going to the gym, doing household chores, preparing food, swimming, or showering.

Remember, jewellery is not indestructible no matter what it is made from or how much it costs. If you do not look after your precious goods they will not last a lifetime. Proper care will aid in the longevity of your jewellery and ensure that brilliant shine will last.
